Congratulations Girl Guides of Canada - Manitoba Council

Celebrating their 100th Anniversary

The Manitoba Council Archives Committee has two major exhibits focusing on Manitoba's Girl Guide history.

100 years of Guiding in Manitoba-Challenge and Change will be at the Manitoba Museum 190 Rupert Avenue, from April 27 to September 15, 2010. As Girl Guides has moved from "wife skills to life skills" this exhibit will focus on the changes Guiding made as it met the challenges of society. It will also show the impact Girl Guides has had on girls and women.

Girl Greatness Starts Here will be at the Millennium Library Donald and Graham in the Children's department from June 1 to August 31, 2010. This exhibit will focus on the girls' experiences as they met and continue to meet the challenges and fun of Guiding during our 100 year history.
